– Krishnan Suthanthiran, President and Founder, Best Global Foundation
WASHINGTON, DC, USA, Aug 24, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ – This follows the latest two press releases from TeamBest Global Companies, dated August 4, 2021 and August 10, 2021. Links are provided at the bottom of this press release.
Please note that the American Urological Association (AUA) Annual Meeting, scheduled for September 10-13, 2021, will now be a fully virtual spectacle. There will be no in-person program of any kind at this meeting next month. This is due to the constant increase in COVID-19 infections / deaths in the United States. It is reported that 98% of residents / citizens in the United States live in COVID-19 hot spots.
Venice, Illinois, USA has shut down its entire police department due to the infection of all officers with COVID-19. We are not sure about the US government entry / visa policies for entering the US in late October / November 2021.
Therefore, TeamBest Global Companies (TBG) has reduced our footprint at ESTRO 2021 in August 2021 in Madrid, and will only be assisted by TBG staff from Spain and Italy. All travel by our overseas staff to the US, and vice versa, our North American staff to Europe / overseas conferences / trade shows are on hold for the remainder of 2021.
The annual congress of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM), scheduled for October 20-23, 2021, has now been canceled. The International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT), scheduled for late 2021, has also been canceled. The American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) slated for mid-October 2021 is now fully virtual.
The TBG companies have reduced our footprints at ASTRO and RSNA, and are waiting to see the decisions of these two companies – whether they will go virtual again, like last year, to virtual or not – before making hotel / hotel reservations. Flight to our United States / Canadian staff (fully vaccinated only) will attend these two trade shows scheduled for late October 2021 and November 2021 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.
As you may have noted in the last two press releases from TBG Companies – one announcing our plans for trade shows for the rest of the year and the other on the Best Global Foundation – after the 18 months of COVID-19 challenges, and having been poorly treated by some associations for the benefit of other companies, TBG companies are rethinking their salon spending. TBG plans to reduce now and in the years to come, being more selective than in the past in supporting annual meetings, refresher courses and workshops of various associations.
As part of this new thinking, Best Medical International (BMI, a TBG Company) will not be exhibiting at the ASTRO recycling course in Scottsdale, Arizona in early December 2021. In addition, TBG Companies and Best Cure Foundation have formed a new division – namely the world’s best foundation – to spend part of the funds that TBG will save to reallocate trade show expenses to award more than 100 scholarships to residents and others to promote a “multidisciplinary approach to improving care medical care to patients “.
Please share these important announcements and information with your other colleagues.
Best wishes, be safe and healthy – health is wealth!
