The Real Madrid Foundation first clinic in Kosovo took place in the city of Pristina, in collaboration with the local companies STE and Zero Pozitive. Almost 150 boys and girls participated in football with an experience of technical improvement of values, of which 33 were awarded a scholarship to attend, due to their social background or low income.

Two of the Foundation’s coaches, specially trained in the methodology of the organization and certified by the real Madrid Sports Department, visited Pristina. The training sessions took place at the premises of Toni Bleri, Pristina-KF 2 Korriku, for children aged 6 to 16 years old. The sessions, which were carried out within the framework of the health security protocol that governs all the Foundation’s activities around the world, were designed according to the level of play of each group of bubbles in which they worked. Thus reducing the number of group trips to the city of Real Madrid, as only coaches, not teams, travel.

The clinic also featured a masterclass for local sports coaches and educators, attended by 15 participants. This session focused on the advanced individualized assessment of players and the development of technical-tactical sessions for the team.

Educational model
The Real Madrid Foundation overseas clinics offer an educational model designed to improve the technical skills of children who already know how to play football and play regularly with their teams, but who seek to improve certain technical, tactical or strategic areas of their game.

Values
These sports and educational experiences allow more boys and girls to experience the Foundation’s educational philosophy and methodology, providing comprehensive training in values such as respect, motivation, equality, teamwork, healthy lifestyles, independence and self-esteem, through their favorite sport, in this case football.
